Communications Hill consists of two separate areas or “sides” of the hill. The South side is the area that most people think of when someone mentions Communications Hill. For years you could watch as the builders developed the vacant hill that offers sweeping views of South San Jose and the Santa Cruz Mountians. The North side is located off Tully and highway 85, and while it doesn’t have the same spectacular views of the south valley, it still sits on a hill with views and well manicured landscaping.
Lots of interest in homes for sale in Communication Hill
Currently there are only 4 San Jose homes for sale (combined) in Communications Hill. But the important stat is there are 29 homes that are “pending,” which means they have accepted offers and are in contract. That shows you that there is a lot of buyer interest in this newer and well-maintained neighborhood of San Jose. To prove that point, I just found out that one of the homes that is for sale, received over 25 offers the first week on the market, and several of them are above the asking price of $499K. If you’re thinking the home was underpriced and that’s why there are so many offers and above the list price, you’ll be surprised to know the last 2 sales of the same model sold for $495K and $500K. It’s priced right…the market has changed.
